As filetrip site is down and all mirror links(mega) files are removed, there is no way to download any of the files on sky3ds/sky3ds+ website, I've got the diskwriter by googling but the base template is nowhere to be found.

I've already installed cfw.
Thing is the sky3ds blue button is now buttonless, back then (before frogminer), I bought a sky3ds+ to replace my sky3ds and transferred my game and save there, after frogminer, I backed up my save and game from sky3ds+ and sell it(obv not my sky3ds, xD).
And now, I knew that the sky3ds+ has some encryption thing on their saves. I thought that maybe I can restore it with my sky3ds if I only have 1 game (so I don't have to switch game). then use jksm to transfer the save to cia.
So I tried the template_tool to create my own template file for that one game and writing it to the sky3ds and restoring the save file, It works.
When I inserted the card, a blue light did flash repeatedly and stopped after like 1-2 sec, but then the game is not detected.
I am guessing that the template_tool only create lines to add compatibility to a new game to be added to the base template file.

@SylverReZ find me ONE community that is free of drama and politics. even video games forums (like this one) have politics section. and for some reason gamers still take consoles/brands wars seriously. even as a kid i never took the console wars bait despite being a nintendo kid. -

as about forums, when i recently revisited some old forums i used to be regular and seeing how immature most members still are i was like "Yeap. Nothing of value has been lost.". Unfortunately it's the good, comfy forums that ended up dead or shut down, especially because of internet centralization.
