ROM Hack (Request) Rayman DS Control Hack

Hey, I have no Idea how to do this myself so I'm asking anyone to attempt it for me:

I'd like the controls changed for Rayman DS(The N64 Remake):
I want the buttons remapped so that the a,b,x, and y buttons switch with the control pad. I also want the strafe button switched to L, rather than R. Here are the current controls for Rayman:
B:Jump.
A:Shoot Fist.
Y:While it is held, you rotate around Rayman.
X:While it is held, you get a first person perspective to look around.
Llaces camera behind Rayman.
R:Strafe while held.
These are the only buttons I need remapped, and here is how I'd like them:
BPad Down
APad Right
Y:R
XPad Up
LPad Left
R:L

I'd prefer just a new rom, but if that's not appropriate then instructions will be fine. I prefer using Mac OS X(Leopard), but I do have a windows xp computer as well.

I'd imagine this could probably be done with Action Replay cheats. Not that I know how to make AR cheats.

Yeah...I don't know how to make action replay codes, let alone how to get them working with an Acekard 2...

Out of curiosity, why does this matter to you? I (along with countless others) was able to complete the game just fine using the current control scheme.

I've beaten it as well, and now I just can't get used to the controls for some reason. I'd like to be able to control it like super mario 64 ds. By that I mean my right hand using the stylus, and my left controlling the actions.
