I think Switch is a really good and portable console so a PDF viewer will be surely of great use to make switch great not only for games ! Was it ever coded for ARM processors ?

There are a ton of PDF Viewers for Android. So yes, they work fine on ARM processors.

Well, I mean coded for ARM processors without using an Android platform for an easy almost direct Switch portability.
Yes, I have several PDF viewers on the many SoC boards I own (Pine64, Rock64, RPi 2/3). All are ARM chips. All run different operating systems. So yes, they've been made for ARM based platforms not running Android.

That does not mean they will be "easy" to port or write for the Switch.

I think the easiest PDF Viewer to port is:
http://www.xpdfreader.com

The hardest dependency to deal with it's QT, but the others libs are opensource and should compile just fine or with minor editions for switch.

Also, you can use PDF.js on the Switch internet browser, so no need to do much.

Great! Can you explain better how to use pdf.js ?

Pdf? What about cbz? I would love to read Dragon Ball on the go on my switch. Maybe even some marvel zombies.
Well a comic book reader homebrew would be neat. Like Tachiyomi, that is a reader on Android (it also fetches manga from online sources if you so wish)
