so ninjhax homebrews pop in order by when you add/modify them so we should create an homebrew that have an ui where you can sort homebrew order and then you press start and it edit each homebrews last modification time for they pop up in the rigth order

There was one similar for psp homebrews and rom orders and scince I'm a realy organized guy and bored of everytime I update an homebrew I have to sort them all again (manually) I thougth about that

I wish hb_menu would display icons as a grid and have folders. Just another reason why the cia format is superior.

If I could get Brhama and decrypt9 as CIA then I would not use any other hombrews than pastacfw and FBI for nand installing

A relatively simple solution for this is to download the FAT Sorter app. The Homebrew Launcher displays files in reverse order, so try numbering them backwards and sorting the folder using the tool.

Or you can just move them to another folder on your (m)SD and move them back putting the ones you use least back in first. Both of these options aren't all too convenient but it's something if you're wanting a solution quickly.

yup but doing it everytime is kind of anoying so a hombrew that could even restore previous order would be nice

They do? I updated Pasta CFW and it is still below FBI.

You need to modify the folder itself for anything to change. Modifying the contents of the folders will leave the menu in the same order.

The homebrew menu is open source.
anyone with some coding knowledge could be able to do it (remove the hb info, reorder icons to fit 3 or 4 on a row)

folders will be maybe harder than just removing the hb info, but can be done too.
