What I would like to see is a save editor with a clean and easy to use GUI that makes it feel like an official 3DS app.

I got qwerty in. Still testing. I had to add some filler chars for spacing.

I've thought about it. Not right now, but maybe sometime.

secure values for digital games and I'll download this. Gj btw.
I'm still thinking about how I'm going to tackle this. I don't have any digital games, meaning I'd need testers. I'd buy one or two, but I collect coins and that's where all my extra cash is going next week.

There are many free games which use secure value (ex. Pokémon Rumble World)!

His last reply was a month ago though, that's why I felt the need to ask

Point.

some sign of life ?

also, I wonder if it's possible to include this function:
i'm playing pokemon Y, and my wife wanna play it too, but i do not want her to mess my progress.
it's possible to make a button to swap between profiles? like:
-user 1 - stona (active)
-user 2 - mary (X)
-user 3 - peter (X)
when choosing, automatic backup current save into current user, then restore the target user save.

I do not know if I was clear enough =P

Is the project dead?
No, it's not dead. It's kind of a long story. I have a lot going on right now, and just haven't been able to do much with it. The latest build I have has a few issues. I also really wanted to at least have it updating the main Pokemon games secure values.

That's great to know (that the project is still going)
And yeah, if you put a way to get around secure values then it will be the best save editor so far. Save Manager is too simple and SVDT is complicated to a lot of people

I suppose it is not possible, but will this tool be able to dump MHX save file?

The save is different with this game, it is store inside the extdata in the 3DS, since it is there svdt and SM just shows a yellow screen when I try to start them in MHX.

May be this tool can back up that data

If it use the 9.6+ cypto: no!

So what's the best save manager? I'm STILL accustomed to SaveDataFiler since back in the day. has anything surpassed it's usefulness yet?

Update sort of. I may have some good news. Backing up my AS cart and installing it must have triggered the SV, because now I'm getting errors restoring old saves. Working on it as much as I can right now.

Can you make a .Cia build? it would be neat
This is probably technically possible if one were to uproot the target title selector from the Homebrew menu (And Ninjhax, if that's where the target title code is based (Specially now that 2.x is open-source)). I don't think it'd be that easy, though.
I've been longing for a .CIA build of svdt for a while now, since I'm sick to death of SaveDataFiler, and the Homebrew Launcher .CIA is kind of unwieldy most of the time.
I'll honestly take whatever I can get, as long as it's anything but SDF.
