Looks like the save of the (EUR) demo doesn't go as far as offsets 24F66/94566. Max in my slot_0 seems to be 27FF and 67EC in slot_q0 (which should be the quicksave anyway).

And on top of that the full game (still EUR version) got that 9.6+ crypto-thingie, resulting in savemanager/svdt getting the red-touchscreen-freeze.

The offsets are not the same so I tried to find it myself by converting my gold amount (491) to Hex (1EB), reversing the order of the hexcode (EB 01 00) and searching for it. I found it (right at the beginning, 8 to A) and replaced it with 3F 42 0F. While it certainly does show 999999 in the save/load menu, once the game is loaded the gold amount is reverted back to 491.

Nope, it doesn't. Forgot to mention that. The Money is actually back to 491 and when I buy it it gets substracted correctly. Bought Star Herb (200) and it went to 291.

Hm then you sure edited the wrong offset.

I tried to edit the value but I believe I only edited the preview value.
I edited EB 42 00, which was the only instance of my money amount.
I had the same problem as Wurstpistole, when I load the game the amount goes back to the original.

I don't think I'm savvy enough to keep track of the bytes value changes.

Does anyone have some good tip or can lend me a hand?

Forget it. I didn't knew I could change the h, d, o thing in the offset and was trying to change the wrong offset.
Once I put the offset on d I found the 9456 and changed the values from 06 to 08 and it worked just like in the OP.
Newbie mistake.
