Same here! I've been following this thread ever since it got created, and things are starting to really look up. It would be really nice to give this thing a try!

I found a ctraging.cia file on my laptop that's been there for months. Can't remember where it came from, but launching it from DevMenu causes the N3DS to hang on the SD card "wait" screen. It's probably a broken dump. Could someone point me in the right direction of an uncorrupted file please?

If it was dumped from a N3DS, we already have a working copy.

You can find a copy of the N3DS one by searching pastebin for "Nintendo 3ds Factory titles NCCH (untested)".

And... it works! AWESOME. I can pull up the menu by holding start. Time to nerd out.

Checked with a used O3DS XL,no results,with my O3DS XL from the Nintendo Warranty and a backup after 1 month of use and no results.

Update, launching with dev menu still causes the app to freeze on the SD Wait screen, but the start menu still works. :\ I think mines incomplete.
