Illegal Like Not being able to battle with them in PvP Battles? If so, I dont plan on PvPing with them, They are for my own Enjoyment because I didnt get to play X and Y so i want to have my Fav mega Evos

The max number of EVs a Pokemon can have is 510. If it's red, it means it's not legal.

Probably both. You also can't trade online with very obviously hacked Pokemon, such as Pokemon with over 510 EVs.

Also, here's a bit of info for making legal, tradable mons.

・A Pokemon can only have a maximum of 510 EVs.
・A Pokemon can only have a max of 252 EVs in a single stat. This means that to make it equal 510 EVs, two stats can have a max of 252 EVs.
・A Pokemon can have all stats with 31 IVs.
