I really want to continue my playthrough on the Switch version, and I tried transferring the files already, didnt work. Maybe a converter could be made?

Could you maybe compare the safestates from both games? For Breath of the Wild the difference was minimal but it is likely that they changed everything.

Yeah with a completed save, you can select any chapter. None of your decisions have any impact between chapters so it's just as good.

Considering how linear AA is, just download a save file from the internet.
