I'm trying to replace the top screen of my DS lite, but after soldering the speakers on, which was simple enough, my right speaker doesn't work at all. I've tried desoldering and resoldering a couple times but I still can't get it to work. I don't know what to do and I don't want to damage the LCD cable any more. Any ideas?

Edit: Just tested the speaker on the old screen, it works just fine.

it is probably a faulty screen then, make sure all the ribbon cennector cables are pushed in properly

Yeah I just ended up putting the right speaker on the left speaker + pad. It's about half volume and one channel but I can deal with it. If it ever becomes a problem I'll just use headphones. I waited about a month for the screen to come in from DX (yeah I know, shady replacement screens, but I got the "genuine" one and it looks good enough for me). And besides, I lost my previous ds and my friend had an old broken one so I repaired it for about $25, so I can't complain...
