Ive decided to replace my M3 Real. I bought this card with the gba expansion because of all of its features.

However, i cant get past the fact that this sucker drains the battery of my ds like crazy.
Ive had an R4 i used with no problems, and then a DSTT with no problems, and both of them had MUCH better battery life than my M3 Real.

Any suggestions on what to get? Id like a newer card that gets firmware updates so it can play all the latest roms, and support sdhc. at this point i think i can live without gba support.

So whats the card to get these days?

Thanks

I think the AceKard 2 or Edge might be interesting for you. There not too expensive, they both support SDHC, the updates are decent and they are reliable as well.

By the way, I think your battery won't drain as fast if you just remove the GBA Expansion Pack... if you haven't already.

The Cyclo has a battery-saving feature that seems to work wonders.

Don't just replace: upgrade.
