Hello, I just got today a new refurbished NDS Lite from AliExpress with a clear black shell. The screens are alright, not badly yellowed like the previous one I got, and the hinges are a bit on the loose side, but it's not bad. The problem I have however is with the face buttons and D-pad. The D-pad feels a bit loose and does not properly "click" like in an OEM DS Lite; and the buttons, there are times that they do not respond as they should, as if they're dependent on from which angle I press the buttons (for example, I repeatedly press the A button, and sometimes it does not register one press. What I would like to know is if it's a membrane problem, or a button quality problem. If I have to replace either or both, should I get them from another DS lite, or should I just buy aftermarket buttons and membranes? If the latter, should I get buttons with solid colors, or clear buttons to match the case? Which ones would you recommend?

Aftermarket ones have been like that for a few things. Some are better than others but the ones you describe are more like it.

Best would be if you have the archetypal pink/broken screen DS lite from wherever you get cheap devices (something of a harder trick with DS lites these days).

So, do you think it's a membrane problem?
