I want to replace the voices in Puyo Puyo 15th. As a test, I unpacked the sdat file, then repacked with kiwi.ds. I tired it in a emulator (NO$GBA) and everything is out of order, and the music's off. I didn't change anything. So, is it possible that Sega/Sonic team did something weird to the sdat file or do I do a some hexing?

Note: The files I want to replace are swav and swar.

I've had the same problem. The tool can't seem to put stuff back in anything besides alphabetical order. No fix that I'm aware of.

Number text file?

Like this?

Code:
WAVE_BGM00.swar
WAVE_BGM01.swar
WAVE_BGM02.swar

To

Code:
00_WAVE_BGM00.swar
01_WAVE_BGM01.swar
02_WAVE_BGM02.swar

But, if I do that, wouldn't the game have trouble reading the files?

That didn't seem to work. Should I upload the file and maybe someone can try it?

So, I did that, but something is still messed up, so are you telling me it's a mix of hex and decimal?

Anyway, I've done that to all the other files in the sdat, but it' still mess up, The drum beats are replaced with character voices, half the character have the voice, other do not.

The thing is, I can edit other files, the the dropset files and it packs just fine.
Nope, that didn't work.
