My friend let me borrow his psp 1000 to mod it for him because his umd drive is broken. I am unclear weather it will actually read games or its just because it doesn't close but I am would like to remove the door and the drive so the door wont stick out and it will be lighter. I know that in order to take off the door, you must completely strip down the console. I was wondering if you could just break off the door, and then just unscrew the drive and take it out. Otherwise, I dont really wanna take apart his entire console as its not mine.
