ROM Hack Removing Intros From NDS ROMs

So I am just starting to get into the whole No-Intro thing. I understand the concept and what it's about, however I don't really understand how to do it. I know you need the application ClrMamePro, and a DAT file which you get from the No-Intro site. But when I open the ClrMamePro program it starts talking about profiles and EXE files needing to load and I get lost.

So my question is, I just want to know how to remove scene intros from NDS ROMs and make them 100% legit. An example would be the new Dragon Quest release by XENOM. It has that little intro that pops up when you load up the game. I want to remove that, but still keep the ROM in tact. I have gotten as far as using NDS Top System 0.2 to identify that the ROM has this error "Rom header is corrupted". Does fixing the Rom header take away the intro? How do I fix the Rom header? And if fixing the Rom header doesn't remove the intro from the ROM, how do I remove it?

And another side question, I think this is done with ClrMamePro but I'm not sure, but is there a way to batch fix scene NDS ROMs so they get converted to No-Intro standards? Thanks in advance!

But wait, those hex edits remove the intros, in doesn't remove the AP.
 
Thanks for the replies guys, I'm looking into a few of those fixes now.

Also another question - all those No-Intro NDS ROMs. Have they been dumped by a special no-intro group, or are they just ROMs that scene groups have dumped, that have been patched/fixed to meet the no-intro standards?
 
Yeah, they were patched by people just like us so that there's no intros anymore. There's no specific team working on that. That sucks, right? xD

Beyond saying it's different for every game/every intro, I don't think there is a real answer. I image the general process is to find where the code to load the intro was injected in the arm9 file and disable/remove it. Should be near if not right at the beginning.
