Hacking Removing homebrew microSD card from switch

Hi, I've been looking into modding my switch but since I'm on a money crunch, I wanna know if I'm able to use 2 different microSD cards for my switch; one for the custom firmware (homebrew), and another for my switch games. To simplify, can I use a microSD card for my switch games, maintaining all the original firmware on there to play online, and a separate microSD card strictly for homebrew? Another question, will I need to re-enable something if I do decide to do this?

Yes, but it's not even needed. You can have emuNAND on the same card as you're using for your bought games (sysNAND).

You can use 2 different SD cards for your Switch but there is very little reason to do so. Plus you risk breaking your SD card reader which is very fragile on the Switch.
