    hi to all,

I have installed al9h, luma3ds, gateway 3ds, hourglass 9, fbi cia manager, and the homebrew launcher including with some custom ui's to my 3ds. the problem is this. as my 3ds sd card is running low on space because i installed all those things i''d like to know if its possible to restore it by for example flashing my old 3ds 4.5 backup (otp/nand) to the system.

i have installed a lot of items and i kind of lost track of what is absolutely necessary for the system. when i first installed al9h it was through gateways method and not through the community. i had removed gateway's method but me being me i forgot to clean my sd card.

Right..the things i want to know is, is it possible to restore a nand and completely remove al9h and all the other installs like luma, gateway etc to start over. if not, I'd like to know how i could set my emunand as my systemnand and use gateway, luma etc from there because i lost track of all the installs and switching between them often has me confused.

i also would like to know if it's possible to update my sysnand with al9h to the latest firmware version because i couldn't find any good info about this online and im not sure whither it is a good idea or not.

if you have any questions ask them, I'd probably be able to explain what im dealing with more easily than rambling about it and trying as good as i can.

here is a tree of my sd card..id like to clean this puppy up but i honestly don't know what to safely remove to still keep it booting

Have a look at part 3 of Plailect's guide. It will tell you what files you need at a minimum. It also has a section for flashing your emuNAND to your sysNAND and getting rid of the emuNAND partition.

    thanks for the quick reply!
so i can flash my emunand to my sysnand without any problems? even if my emunand is on the latest v11 firmware update?
also when i try to boot Decrypt9 (in 4.5 sys or 11 emunand) it won't boot

You need to boot it as an a9lh payload. This means putting the .bin file in luma/payloads and renaming it y_Decrypt9.bin or something that doesn't interfere with your other payloads. Then hold the assigned button while turning on and you'll boot into it.

so i went through all the steps, cleaned my sd card, deleted emunand (made backups of everything) and updated my sysnand to the latest version and i can confirm everything works as it supposed to.

but, after i accepted the Nintendo terms and accessed the eshop to browse some games, my sales history was empty and after i closed it all my ambassador titles including all the other downloads i installed before doing this were disabled. i can still find them in my system settings but they're grayed out and there is a cross in the thumbnail image.

i tried fixing this by re flashing my nand backup i made after i just upgraded and the titles came back, this time i left it into sleep mode. after i opened it, Nintendo video was downloaded and my titles were gone once again.

Is there something i have missed or do i have to do something else to fix this issue? if it can be fixed at all. all the other items like emunand9, decrypt9, gateway 3ds are working fine (except for gateway i get a nag everytime i boot it to tell me its running in sysnand mode because it can't find the emunand i removed)

Did you format or do a system transfer? What happens if you try to log into your NNID (while the games show)?
