It works on Vita/PSTV. Not confirmed to work on PC yet.

If somebody could test with offline remote play from github it would be nice.

Remote Play activation

If the prefix has never been part of the PSN, Remote Play is not possible, but now there is a way to activate it without connecting to the network and activating the console

  1. Prepare in advance the device that you plan to use for Remote Play
  2. Pull all USB devices out of the box
  3. Make an exploit if you have not already done so
  4. Exit to the main console menu and press (UP), select "Profile" -> "Change User"
  5. In the "Name" field, change the name of your user to User1
    • It is necessary to do this in order not to lose your account information
  6. Start "Settings" -> "Network", uncheck "Connect to the Internet"
  7. Run HEN if you have not already done so
  8. Go to "Settings" -> "Debug Settings" -> "System" -> "IDU mode", select "On"
  9. Click "OK" to reboot.
  10. Wait in the upper right corner of the inscription "Provide unit with a valid network connection or insert IDU update disc"
  11. Hold (R1) + (R2) + (L1) + (L2) + (Option) + (UP) and hold until you go to Staff Mode
    • Be sure to turn on the controller
  12. Go to "Settings" -> "Remote Play Connection Settings" and select "Direct Connection to PS Vita / PS TV System" -> "Add Device"
  13. Enter the appeared code on the device from which you plan to start Remote Play
    • At this point, a new User2 will appear
    • Remember that you will only use a direct connection. Connecting via the Internet will not work
  14. Run HEN if you have not already done so

Translated... however this doesn’t seem like new info.....

Well it has been confirmed working on pc with patched remote play app by 3 users from other forums/reddit. I will test myself tommorow and let you know guys.

Did you use the IDU method in the OP or did you go the "Activated PS4" route?
IDU mode! it works on local networks (lan mode or something like that) and on direct connection! YES! i was about to sell my vita cuz i bought it as a controller for my ps4 XD <3 NOW I DON'T HAVE TO! awesome!

What do yoz mean by direct connection? Does it mean i cannot use wifi?
wifi and direct connection! they both work, but you have to be on the same network if you want to use wifi, you cant like go to Spain and connect over wifi to your ps4 and remote play it, you need to be on the same wifi network.

Thanks. Is your Vita activated? Wondering if Remote Play is possible with an unactivated Vita or PS TV.
