I'm pretty sure it's set to use the system language. What language is your system in? If it's set to English, IDK. Paging @erman1337 to help this gentleman.

but how does this work? is it by temporarily replace currently used theme, or it adds new theme, and can I switch theme from the default theme manager afterwards?

I'm using the cia version with b9s. Installed my o3ds a week ago with a fresh cfw (luma). I often get the error when creating a shuffle list, after i previewed some bgm themes it crashes.

The problem happens when you go through or review the installed themes that you have,
It is very strange since I had version 1.2.0 and that does not happen

Use CFW as the CIA version is recommended. (Plus, CFW comes with sweet benefits.)
If you still get the problem or refuse to get CFW, wait until @erman1337 fixes the issue.

Well, the only thing you can do is wait.

Here's some suggestions:

1. Auto Update
2. Download directly from the 3DS custom theme site.
3. Select how long until The theme shuffles to the next. (5,10, 15, etc. minutes)
4. Shuffle themes after exiting an App/Game.

This is impossible, as the 3DS system controls theme shuffling.

@erman1337 I have a suggestion, not for themely but for 3dsthem.es - would it be possible to add 2 more theme sections? 1 for Fbi themes and another for freeshop themes? or expand it to app specific themes.

There's a thread for 3DSThem.es. As for your suggestion, he is likely to say no.

Thanks for awesome app. Was downloading a couple of themes. Got a couple but now wont let me download anymore. I am using new 3ds 11.4 with boot9strap and luma 8.0. Not sure wth happened was working well then crashed and now keeps giving me this error "content disposition header not in response" when i try scanning with QR scanner
