Then saltysd will be loaded and you can select the game from the home menu and play the mods.

I magically got this to work on my 3DS, but now my friend is having problems. When he uses Aurora's latest luma build, his 2DS boots, but mods don't load when he launches smash selector. When he tries an hourly build, his 2DS doesn't start up at all, but freezes before the CFW is loaded. He's on the latest firmware, what do?

How is it working on yours and not his? Is the code.bin and title id and romfs folder all in the right place?

Yeah, I did his after doing mine. It just didn't work. I have no idea why the hourly build would work on my system and not his, as far as I know, there's no significant difference between 2DS and O3DS

could anyone help me?? for some reason my game lags at any point, even choosing playing normal smash, about 2 months ago (the last time i played) the game works fine i was using luma 6.4 and smash selector as always, all the mods i made were totally fine but now they dont appear.
i have luma 6.6 (because i want to play FE echoes, the menu translate edit) but for some reason smash is the only game with this problem, so i dont know if is luma, the smash selector or anything else(is not the game because even with the cartridge i still have the problem

I recently got a N3DS XL with luma and a9lh on 11.3 with luma 7.0
so I just wanna ask does this work with 7.0 luma and if so can anyone give me instructions on how to install?
im pretty new to the smash mods

Be more precise. This doesn't work with:
1. CFW 11.3.0-36X-11.4.0-37X
2. Luma3DS v7.0 & 7.1 (both Stable and Hourly Builds)
And this has NOT been updated ever since Firmware 11.3 was released by Nintendo.
(Or if I'm wrong tell me why; keen to know!)

Luma 7.0 changed the path for external code.bin's. Check the update notes for Luna to find the new path.
