This is outstanding - thank you! Quick question: is there a way of assigning one of the hot keys to cycle through the maps, rather than going to the console and typing 'map 12' for example..?

I could give it a try but i don't see why that would be a thing.
I mean, sure it could make things easier for map switching but what if I'm playing a game and press said button by accident?
I'd suggest to stay with the console method as i don't know enough about how Quake works. Sorry
