I have CUH-7116B B01Y P-27452480-E & it's a Fifa 18 bundle that had <5.05 (I think it was 4.74).

The date code on the console is 7C, but that isn't anyway on my label or box as far as I can see.

Someone questioned this last year.

@smf Ok, i think i understand. You can only read the date code directly on the console itselfs, that is why i didn't find it....

I think the pack gran turismo i submitted to examination is OK. On the one hand, it has the exactly same references as this one: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ps4-pro-gran-turismo-sport-bundle-firmware.512467/ (CUH-7116B and P-27452506-D, the only difference lies in the S01 code located below the bar code). And the other guy who posted on the link identifies the model as 7C datestamp (it is consistent as GT sport was released in october 2017).

@kiwii I have just a question. How can you interpret that number S01-1290894-J ? I don't know if that information is necessary to know the FW version as you don't have to mention it on PS4-Ident.. Thank you

Apologies if this is a stupid question. I'm looking at buying a pro running on 5.05 but concerned about being able to play all the latest physical/backed up games. Is it possible without updating? Also can I still access PSN?

I took a gamble today. Finally made a decision. Bought this brand new gran turismo sport PS4 PRO 1TB and came with 4.7 firmware just like this guy

This is why I recently picked up another console. I got a pro that was on 6.20, updated to 6.51 enjoying new games now too (when cheap second hand or PSN sale).

Head to the X-Project page for more payloads, and ensure you use an update blocker or take precautions not to lose that precious 5.05

Could you link me this X-Project page ? Yes thanks for the blocker I know how to handle jb ps4 on 5.05.
I have a fat 5.05 now for about a bit more than 1 year, just wanted to upgrade to the 5.05 pro and i just saw the opportunity . I just hope newer games are coming soon on JB PS4... Even the fact i bought this old firmware pro i must admit i am starting to get tired of old games, cause i have almost completed them all :/

@engeslam previous data showed that to be the model number for Glacier White slim on 5.55 (clearly this is not white, I need to update ps4ident)... anyway: I would avoid this model.
