So like does this actually play Pico games lmao
It's for Sega games, not PICO-8
Pretty sure he meant the SEGA Pico, which uses almost all of the same hardware as the Sega Genesis.
To answer the question though, I have no idea. The original PicoDrive supports Sega Pico, but I'm pretty sure PicoDrive 3DS has not been tested with those games.

This emulator is the best for my old 2DS, but I don't know what file format it expects for SegaCD games to run properly... my games are in ISO, CUE and MP3 format 😅

Ironically, picodrive on my RG300 supports playing the SegaCD games in this format, but not your version 🫤

I have been running alot of tests on this emulator, and I must say that it works very well, the only thing I can say that is strange is sometimes when switching sega cd games, it throws you back to the 3ds menu, and sometimes when it doesn't send you back to the 3ds menu, its like it is still using the sram from the prior game that was loaded, to give an instance of this, I was playing sonic cd, then I switched to snatcher and played for a while, saved the game with the in game save, and turned it off, when I went back to my game (snatcher), all my progress I made since the switch wasn't saved, the only thing I can think of is that it saved to sonic cd's sram instead of snatchers, has anybody else noticed this at all?
What format are your SegaCD games in? Mine are ISO, CUE and MP3 which works on PicoDrive on my RG300 but not this version of PicoDrive on my o2DS where there's no audio...

Yes 32x will be supported because it's already available in PicoDrive. By the dynarec is not yet tested thoroughly for this build.

The complete set of codes weren't committed to Github previously. I've just pushed the latest complete codes, so you can compile and try again. :)

Hmm... Separate MP3/ISO seems supported in PicoDrive. But I haven't tried it in this port... and even if it does, I expect it to only work smoothly for the New 3DS. I think that the Old 3DS may not have enough juice to decode MP3.
For SegaCD you're right about PicoDrive supporting MP3/ISO with CUE as I have it on my RG300 and they work great there, but this port of PicoDrive doesn't like it 😞 I don't know what to do 😓

It cannot, Sega Genesis only due to the DS not having enough Ram. If there is a version that runs on the 3DS instead of DS then maybe.
Again this is an emulator THAT RUNS ON A NINTENDO DS, the DS doesn't have enough ram and processing power to run emulated Sega CD games.
I think you're confusing this with PicoDriveDS/PicoDriveTWL. This version of PicoDrive is specifically made for 3DS and 2DS consoles, and does run Sega CD games.
The issue seems to be that the CUE format is not supported.

Hi I just have two quick questions. Do multi-disc Sega CD games work on this? Has anyone tried that or those 32x/sega CD games?

I know this emulator hasn't been updated in a while, but any plans to add support for SG-1000 and Game Gear games in the future? These two features would be a lovely addition to making the ultimate all-in-one SEGA emulator on the Nintendo 3DS.

Also, we need to add FM sound support for compatible Master System games.

There is in fact a Game Gear and Master System emulator, it is included as part of Twilight menu, just open the roms using that.
I could also use that emulator you mentioned for SG-1000 and ColecoVision games. There's just one small problem with S8DS: For games such as Sonic 1 and 2 on Game Gear, the SEGA jingle audio is distorted. But it's not that noticeable.

I do have one criticism about using bubble2k16's emulators on 3DS. When using the 3DSX versions and exiting the emulators, they should take you back to the Homebrew Launcher instead of the HOME Menu. It's a shame that wasn't implemented...

Is there way to add Border, Game coverart box, Thumbnails to Picodrive like SNES for 3DS??

Using emulators included in twilightmenu doesn't make much sense on 3DS: they run in DS mode and are limited in processing power and screen resolution because of that. It's like emulating consoles on DS in GBA mode. I guess that for example using retroarch would work much better.

Most 8 bit games run fine emulated in the DS, some need the extra ram of the DSi however, specifically some Wonderswan color games.

Yeah. But you have more potential for extra features in 3ds mode and the scaling of ds mode is not very good which is an issue that can't be resolved. Everything in DS mode simply can't look as good as 3ds mode stuff.

I want to convert my completed Sonic 3 & Knuckles save file from my original cartridge over to PicoDrive 3DS. I started Sonic 3 to create a new save file. The new save is in .sram. I need to convert my completed save to that, which is in .srm. I can use the Sonic 3 Save Editor to convert saves between versions (consoles, EverDrives, PC, Steam, and even A.I.R.). Are there ways to convert Genesis saves from .srm to .sram so I can carry over my progress?

Have you tried just renaming?
