3DS Build will not have auto-update system.
CIA Build will have it but will be different from ninjhax ones:

Ninjhax auto-update system:
- Search updates on my server
- Download updates if found
- Extract update
- Install update and delete unused files
- Reboot ORGANIZ3D

CIA auto-update system:
- Search updates on my server
- Download updates if found
- Extract update
- Install update
- Import new CIA file
- Delete unused files

So CIA users must reboot ORGANIZ3D manually (cause we lack of a proper function to boot imported CIAs (maybe ns:s func RebootToTitle but i think it will be incompatible with imported CIAs cause it reboot system to sysnand :/ )

I think the better one is to manually check the update .
If it auto-update when set up,depending on the wifi speed,it may crash.

bug report : ORGANIZ3D and CHHM have troubles handling folders with accents in their names, I have three theme folders with "Pokémon" in their names, the programs see it, but not the files inside of them (plus the "é" was displayed as a square).

Looking to give this a shot to back-up saves (basically just doubling saves so I don't have to pull the SD card as often). Anyone use it for a similar task and have any luck/insight on how this works?

I don't remember, but the txt says you copy/paste files and folders with L and R. I don't think it is possible to create or rename folders yet.

For now: lpp-3ds supports only ASCII characters so these are the only usable characters for naming folders and file. ( http://www.asciitable.com/ ). In the future i'll work to add, at least, Latin-1 (http://casa.colorado.edu/~ajsh/iso8859-1.html) characters support (but, for now, it's useless to work on it).

P.S. Renaming files and folders is possible with ORGANIZ3D.

Any application that tries to do something with EXTDATA crashes on CFW (this, playcoin setter) for me, for some reason. Is this a known limitation or am I alone experiencing this problem?

I made other tests with PNGVs videos and i get quite a good framerate (something near to 15 FPS that is like my first BMPVs tests) disabling DoubleBuffering but if i disable last ones, ORGANIZ3D screens start both to flickering :/
If i understand how to solve this, maybe with other improvement to lodepng srcs, PNGVs reproduction could be an implementable feature for ORGANIZ3D.

3D Video? For now, is too much to ask to get a good framerate with normal video <.<

Anyway, mp4 library i found is still in alpha state and is very incomplete. So nothing to do.
I added libjpeg to lpp-3ds and now i'm trying to create a JPGV format cause libjpeg is quite faster than lodepng so maybe with jpeg images we can have a good framerate.

Filesize for videos is amazing:
Same video:
MP4 - 15 MB
BMPV - 700 MB
PNGV - 260 MB
JPGV - 26 MB

And take in mind that 15 MB in the JPGV file are only for WAV audio so Videoframes are only 11 MB size.
Using Mono audio instead of Stereo Audio will decrease JPGV size from 26 MB to 19 MB so quite similar to MP4 original video. :D

O.T: With libjpeg implementation, lpp-3ds reached the "milestone" of a 3DSX file of 1 MB :P

With no info about your error, i cannot do nothing to fix it...

...after a complete re-install :(
