Well... that's all I got. I do have a powerful router, but my mobile is my only source of internet.
I've been trying to get the router to tether via USB with my phone, but it fails to work. I know it can. Just need to figure out how.
I attempted to connect the laptop to the WiFi hotspot, then share (bridge) that connection via ethernet to the router. Works, have internet from the router over WiFi to other devices, but then CTR-V wont connect anymore.
We need a way to force the 3DS to stay connected to a network even when internet is not present. That would solve all of this.
Would bridging the mobile hotspot to the HostedNetwork feature of CTR-V work? The 3DS should be connecting directly to the laptop's WiFi card, and the bridge would allow the console to see an internet connection.
I've tried it, but can't get it to connect. Keeps showing error that the 3DS IP address is wrong.
BTW, I tried the new update. MUCH MUCH better. Average is around 30fps. Still getting random slow downs and hangs. I'm sure it is due to the weak wireless module in my phone.
