Finally decided to give this a go. My first attempt to use the streaming, and NTR.
Using BootNTR Selector. Have tried 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4.
I've got a few questions cause I am running pretty slow. Goes from ~8 fps to 20ish. Usually hovering below 13.
How intensive is this on the processor? I've tried it on 2 laptops now. One has a quad core Pentium (N3540) and my other has a 4th gen i7-4510u.
Now I can imagine that the N3540 might be a lil weak to keep up, since it is closer to being a tablet processor. But the laptop with the N3540 one is running slightly better... ??
Another question is How strenuous is this on the WiFi? I use my android phone as a hotspot, so everything is going through that.
Never really been an issue before. I transfer files via FTP between devices and get decent speeds and reliable connection.
Last question. I've got the latest ver of CTR-V now 1.2.0. It does not want to go full screen. My laptop will switch to full screen (lowering the resolution also), but the image is not filling up the screen. It seems to scale equally to whatever resolution the monitor is set to. So setting the res to 800x600 does not make it larger. Still takes up the same space on the screen.
If I set the scaling of the top display to anything above 1.0 in window mode, the FPS drops considerably. Down to about 5. Even when set to display the top screen only.
Is it not possible to ignore the bottom screen and display the top screen in fullscreen mode?
