Finally decided to give this a go. My first attempt to use the streaming, and NTR.
Using BootNTR Selector. Have tried 3.2, 3.3, and 3.4.

I've got a few questions cause I am running pretty slow. Goes from ~8 fps to 20ish. Usually hovering below 13.
How intensive is this on the processor? I've tried it on 2 laptops now. One has a quad core Pentium (N3540) and my other has a 4th gen i7-4510u.
Now I can imagine that the N3540 might be a lil weak to keep up, since it is closer to being a tablet processor. But the laptop with the N3540 one is running slightly better... ??

Another question is How strenuous is this on the WiFi? I use my android phone as a hotspot, so everything is going through that.
Never really been an issue before. I transfer files via FTP between devices and get decent speeds and reliable connection.

Last question. I've got the latest ver of CTR-V now 1.2.0. It does not want to go full screen. My laptop will switch to full screen (lowering the resolution also), but the image is not filling up the screen. It seems to scale equally to whatever resolution the monitor is set to. So setting the res to 800x600 does not make it larger. Still takes up the same space on the screen.
If I set the scaling of the top display to anything above 1.0 in window mode, the FPS drops considerably. Down to about 5. Even when set to display the top screen only.
Is it not possible to ignore the bottom screen and display the top screen in fullscreen mode?

Got it working now. Is there any way to capture the screens separately in OBS? I tried using OnTopReplica to create new windows for each screen, but the video for them doesn't seem to show up in OBS.

Well I'm having the same issues that I've always had with NTR Streaming. For Whatever reason, my Framerate is trash. like 15 is my average. I have no idea what the problem could be. I set it to top screen only, 80% quality, rest of the settings default, and still nothing...

My compy and Router are all solid too, do I just need to be closer to it or what?

I thank you for all your effort bringing streaming to us all, Its just been nothing but a headache for me

how did you make pokemon sun/moon work without the memory patch and would that work for xyoras too?
It disables NFC that seems to trigger every now and then for example when going on the Start Screen, Loading Saves, Every now and then when playing and a LOT in Festival Plaza.
NFC interrupts NTRViewer's Internet Access which is why it freezes, You can still do local play like local trading but it WILL freeze while doing local battles etc but ocne your done trading and your out of NFC stuff it will unfreeze.

I had no issues streaming through with obs till the latest update. The game capture window won't pop up even after enabling it. thanks for your time :D this is by far the best thing I ever laid my eyes on.

Ok so first things first is realistically PC power isnt a factor, You could be using a Windows 7 Tablet thats 3 years old and it would still work fine.
Dont use your phone as a "Hotspot", Phone's Wifi Adapters are RLLY RLLY unpowerful, Meaning it wont give you good FPS since the actually wifi adapter in the device is bad. (Ive never seen a phone with not even half as powerful as a laptop wifi adapter).
The whole fullscreen thing is a huge WIP, Its not coded by me so I cant fix it. In the next update its going to be removed aswell as its EXTREMELY unstable and requires a NTRViewer build that gives low FPS (Which is also a factor in why you get such low FPS - In my tests on the home menu it gives 4-5 less FPS, In games roughly 15-19~.
Wait patiently for the next update and then give that a go as it has a LOT of stability updates.

Make 2 "Game Capture" or "Window Capture"'s for it and for the top screen one, Right click it -> Transform -> Edit Transform -> Bottom: 240. Do the same for the second one but this time do Top: 240 and also left: 40 and right: 40.
This will basically give you 2 screens seperated with no black bar.

Please wait patiently for the next update, The NTRViewer used for 1.2.0.1 is extremely lower FPS. The next update will give a 2x-4x boost (Roughly).

[v1.2.1] The Fix It Felix Patch
https://github.com/initPRAGMA/CTR-V/releases/tag/1.2.1
Reverted back to the old official NTRViewer build release (3.4PREVIEW2), Found a way to hide the console window without needing to re-build NTRViewer, Added setting to show the Console Window if you need it for showing the FPS on OBS. Fixed some other bugs people let me know about. Extremely Buggy Fullscreen Mode removed (Sorry D: - Its not compatible with the OFFICIAL NTRViewer release)

Using 1.2.1 I can't seem to get the TCP server to stop disconnecting, using 3.4 preview 2 via Boot NTR Selector, the ip is correct and I can't seem to figure out what could be going wrong.

I can't connect either. IP is correct, firewalls are turned off, NTR is running, I am in-game.

Edit: It works when I use NTR3.4 but I get around 3 FPS
Edit²: In game I get less than 1 FPS :(

i've noticed a bug? for everytime the program gets auto updated or i restart my pc, i have to keep resharing my connection from my ethernet to my wifi adapter. after that i can close out the program and open it back up and be fine until the next restart or update. is this normal?

Yeah heres the thing the whole hostednetwork thing imo isnt recommended, I tried it and I didnt get any improved FPS at all, Instead I got like 4fps.
