I was wondering if there is a list of all the DS games with the ID number. Also, is there any type of system to the numbers? I have seen 0001 to 5500 or so. Are some of them Europe releases and other US releases? I haven't been able to find any explanation.

you just add 1 to every new release.

so for example, if today's latest rom release was #5555 so the next release would be #5556.

You can get all the scene release numbers from: http://advanscene.com/
And search by title from here: http://advanscene.com/html/dbsearch.php

GBAtemp has the numbers as well, but I think they're off.

And no, they aren't just numbered for US releases.
Thanks.

Is there any difference from the EUR release and US release? If there is a number for EUR and the same game is released in the US as a different number, they are basically a duplicate?

It includes all regions releases that have been dumped that have not been nuked* along with some nukes that slipped through the net, carts that are not available for public purchase are given "XXXX" as the number, this includes hardware dumps from flashcarts, demo carts, distribution carts (pokemon stuff), DS Download Station carts along with the nukes that did not slip through the net.

There's no proper numbering system it just makes it a little easier for people.

The "proper" way to reference a release such as the current latest "Emily The Strange" would be:
"Emily_The_Strange_-_Strangerous_EUR_NDS-WiKiLEAKS"
The release name given to the rom by the release group*

*Info on the warez scene

Edit: about your question to twiztidsinz yeah, more or less but it may have extra languages like French or Spanish and have changes to things going by region and other things (sometimes legally) and bug fixes sometimes.

Rarely. The EU regions usually have more languages (as stated), and there's other minor differences, for example the spelling of "color/colour", and stuff like loo/bathroom, regional slang differences. Also whichever region is released later (generally EU) tends to have some bugs fixed that were found in the first release version.

The differences are rarely large, though sometimes a game's name will be changed, for example Star Fox was called Lylat Wars in the EU because the name "Star Fox" was already taken by another game over there... but it was the same game.

Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
