Thanks for the new suggestions and bug reports guys. I will work on all of these :) For now, here's a set of screenshots of what I've been working on over the last couple of days for the next beta:

Coming soon, buds! :)
Mind adding a - and + button for the color selectors to adjust the colors by 1 digit?

With stylus:
  1. I select an homebrew.
  2. I select another homebrew.
  3. It crashs.
EDIT: It crashs only when I select the themehax_installer or an ftp homebrew (without pony), whatever I use the stylus or the DPad

Good idea - it's now on the list.

Anyone else getting this problem? I don't use either of these apps.

Beta 10984: The launcher can now defy space and time. :P
Which beta number for "HBL now gives kernel access on FW9.3+"?
Also both on the list

Wow, great work on the customizable themes and title launching. Soon there might be no reason to load up the normal Home Menu :O

Would it be possible to add icon size customization like Home Menu has? (have more possible apps on one screen at the cost of icon size, preferably mirroring the size and number of icons that Home Menu can display)

Which System titles don't launch? I know smea said they were working on launching applets in HBL on twitter. It would be cool if you could have a smaller top row of icons above the main ones just like how Home Menu does it, for Web Browser/Friends/Notifications etc. Again, not sure how feasable this is, but anything that can get HBL closer to how Home Menu functions is one step closer to being able to simply use themehax to boot straight into your HBL

I don't really want to do that, as scaling the images makes them look terrible (I tried it to have a larger icon on the top screen).

I don't know TBH. I tried every single one of the titles on my 9.9 EUR N3DS and put the title IDs of the non-working titles into ignoredtitles.txt, but you would have to try them to see which ones don't work in your region/version/device.

Customizable image resources would make this killer, would like to theme the hell out of this. If that's not possible then at least customizable background image for top and bottom screen?

In short it lacks the background music, images for screens and may replace the primary home menu! I also hope that the notifications icons, friend list, Miiverse will be it!

Would it be possible to make it so that the launcher loads the same theme files as the home menu?

To my knowledge they only change background, bgm, folder color, and border.

how ignoredtitles.txt work?
i have an USA console..
You have to put the title IDs of the titles you want it to ignore into the file, separated by commas. You can get the title ID by trying to boot the title, then looking at the file bootlog.txt on your SD card.

Possibly. I don't know anything about the file format, and wouldn't even want to start trying to work out how to play bcstm files :/
