Hi!
Thanks for this, its cool!
And some questions:
1.- What's CDN? I know that you can download from NUS, but CDN...
2.- Maybe someone asked this before but, Can we install DLCs with this?
Bye!

CDN/NUS, essentially the same thing, i.e direct from nintendo
2. no, this is just a downloader tool, you still need tickets, and DLC for whatever reason never got released on disk, god know why not :creep:

CDN = content delivery network = fast servers companies have to give us files :) so, simply it is nintendo's servers
this will make dlc, but we can't install it now (i think) - because we have no sig patches yet

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

we just need the key :)
but yeah we can't dump tickets from nand yet, but when we can :creep:

i read something before i think we can now dump our own tickets (thus get the NUS i gather, not tried it yet though), but its a console unique ticket, until we have signature patches it wouldn't be installable*

*except on the console it originated.....which is kind of pointless really

if so, that's great. i want those keys
we really need to have a key/ticket UPLOADER to that keysite, something that 3ds didn't have. to automate the sharing process.

CIAngel? ha
CIAngle is living up to its name :P

nah either one would be good, but there is nothing stopping someone taking the PC out of the process for downloading the NUS stuff and the ticket from *that ticket site*to the SD via the homebrew launcher then loading up the titleinstaller to finish it off, all the groundwork is there for a wiiu version now

We need more GUI tools, and less command line shit... Please and thanks.

I'd also love to remove the PC from the equasion, just like they did for the 3DS cart dumper. It would be nice to install the game from disc right to NAND or USB from the machine, no PC required.

more manners, less moaning ;)

it will come soon enough, the progress over the last few days is pretty amazing, i was just like "hmmmm go look how sad and desperate the wiiu stuff is again mwahahaha".....and well, its not

gui gotta be based on something
loadiine/the homebrew launcher probably have most of the features needed to make a crude botch job NUS downloader with a few tweaks, really all it needs is to be able to download the tickets from *redacted* and grab the cover art from gametbdb.com the same as loadiine did then either integrate the titleinstaller or simply launcher it once the download finishes, and there we go (near) instant pretty NUS grabber on the wiiu
*non dev oversimplification may have occurred*

i havent tried to install anything yet because i have been too busy pajeeting your script to ask for raw input instead of args even though that is useful to basically noone but i will right now

edit: works fine

Can this program download eShop games and install them? Is this any different from NUSGrabber?
no and yes it is written in python which makes it easy to use on linux and can fetch title.tiks from a source you define

a resume option would be cool, like your script would check what's in the output/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/ folder, for size, and pickup where it left off :)

Nop I can't buy on eshop, I can't find it... But why there is the Title ID on NUS?
Title ID doesn't mean it's on NUS, it's just used when installing on your system so it doesn't overwrite anything else, I'm sure it's possible to mount it to get the .app from the disc but

I second the idea of being able to resume a download. I decided to use this to get Sm4sh since I cannot dump my disc right now and install it. Script literally froze on the last part; at like 78%. RIP me. Btw great job on the script.

huh i thought you were a more positive user than this...

you need something pretty to look at with buttons? something hd?
this isn't 'my first wii u piracy tool'.

try downloading 30 games on a router, see how a gui helps you there lol

i want a tool that i can tell it what to do, press enter and it will do it.
i don't even want something prompting me yes/no, what file name, what game.
if i was making money off of this thing, things might be a little bit different lol.

being command line it is much more powerful, i can (and have) set the 3ds version up on my server every week for example, to download the latest 3ds themes.
then make it automatically upload that stuff to mega and give me the link.
downloading stuff on the server i rent is ridiculously fast, compared to having to have my computer on and some gui app running for X many hours needed to download all the wii u games i want to play.

this is NOT a tool for noobs, yet amazingly it is so simple to use that even noobs can use it too, incredible.
i'm not sure how much easier i could make it:
FunKiiU.py -title 000500001012be00 -onlinekeys

Maybe you want to open an exe on windows and shout PIKMIN into your mic and the app to handle the rest lol

i won't stop making command line tools just for people who like windows lol
this is multiplatform, NOT java, and perfect for me :)

I'd also love to remove the PC from the equasion, just like they did for the 3DS cart dumper. It would be nice to install the game from disc right to NAND or USB from the machine, no PC required.
great, i think your user title says you are a developer, so take a look at how CIAngel works, and do it for wii u. it's on github.
