I installed the DLC of Mario golf world tour some months ago. Recently i bought alpha sapphire, so i went to the eshop and downloaded the update. My Mario golf DLC is still here and i'm playing it just fine

Is the game and DLC of the same region as your 3DS? I noticed that accessing the eShop on my New 3DS only deleted the unsigned DLC of the same region while it left all the out of region DLC untouched.

No, not using FMP anyhow.

You can use HANS via the HBM though.

no. it is not possible to fix it with this app as this app only nim patches. Hans is able to fix it because it actually edits tiger to direct requests to the proper URLs that are not used by older versions of tiger

Don't hold your breath. We know exactly what causes the error and there does not appear to be any way to solve it without directly editing the eshop application.

Unfortunately any resolution at this time requires an edit to tiger, and HANS is the only way to do that at the moment. There is some talk that GW users can just install the updated tiger and mint (eshop and its applet that is used by other apps) and access the eshop using fmp that way, but my personal experience led to weird timeout errors.

If that method is reliable for GW, then in theory we can repack the tiger and mint cias from the CDN with a fw spoof applied and use them on CFW.

As for downloading updates from the home menu, that does not work. Trying to download a game update actually launches tiger to process and complete the update. DLC like mii plaza games, however, only use mint which does not actually appear to have been affected.

I actually DID try to update a pair of games from the home menu (on my N3DS XL running RX-E 9.5.0-23U) right after the maintenance ended and when I press the button to update the game it launched the eshop (and closed the game), which signed into my NNID then spat error 007-2404 at me, which means it was using the wrong URL.

And what you are describing is a Frankenstein firmware which is not, and should not ever be, endorsed as an accepted solution to a problem due to their nature of causing more problems down the line (especially if/when you do need to update). Even going as far as to update tiger and/or mint to fw spoofed version of their latest update is questionable, but it is easier to replace one or two apps before an update than fix what you are talking about doing.

Then you probable included the updated eshop and mint files as well. That's the only reason you would not get that error. And I still would not recommend that people do that unless they are prepared to deal with the potential problems that arise from doing so.

Look, if you are not getting 007-2404, then you either have v19465 of the tiger (eshop) application, or a modified version that can access the new URLs, installed. End of story. The old versions of tiger that were included with Nver updates prior to -27X simply CANNOT access the new url's without an edit to the application. You must have a misunderstanding of what you installed when you performed this half-update you did to get your system to register as 10.2.0-28E, which is the primary reason why such actions are discouraged.

If you are 100% certain you still have version of tiger below v19465, then give a link to the tutorial you followed that got you to where you are so I can investigate this myself and see what is going on.

It is not necessary tutorial, I've just installed in the 9.5 emunand the cias that I quoted with sysupdater, nothing more, this only work for download updates for games in home menu, not from eshop app.

Nvm... coulda swore the last time I tried to update a game it actually closed the game out and launched the eshop but this time it did not so I must have been mistaken.

edit: This was on a 9.5 emunand btw, so....

Everything works as intended again if you use 3DNUS to download the latest eShop/Tiger applet cia. Tested on N3DS: GW9.5 Emunand with v19465 eShop.
