@Madridi

Anyway i have managed to build citrus without a problem, it creates a citrus.zip
unzip in devkitPro\citrus and you should have:

c:\devkitPro\citrus\include
c:\devkitPro\citrus\include\citrus
c:\devkitPro\citrus\include\citrus\*.hpp
c:\devkitPro\citrus\lib\
c:\devkitPro\citrus\lib\libcitrus.a

Once done, you can compile CTRXplorer just fine ;)

Thank you so much for this. @d0k3 helped me out yesterday with his compiled build of citrus and yeah CTRXplorer compiled without a problem.
Can you perhaps let me know what you did to compile citrus though? That one is still a mystery to me lol

I used a newer picasso build then the one in my c:\devkitPro\devkitARM\bin\ folder

[EDIT]
- Confirmed by @Madridi , you need version 2.1 of picasso in "c:\devkitPro\devkitARM\bin\", then citrus should build fine :) (The included picasso compiler is an older version)

Any chance of getting basic image preview? Asking because Ive been using sunshell as a basic sd file explorer and I want to make the change to ctrxplorer. Smeas HBL screenshot tool is handy but generates a bunch of unnecessary images which i use sunshell's basic file explorer image preview to delete without using a pc
Not likely. Read the OP.

"Why can't I view videos and images and/or listen to audio?"
An internal media player goes beyond the scope of CTRXplorer, which has the goal to be just a simple, no-bloat file manager. If you absolutely must have media play capabilities, I suggest you take a look at Sunshell.

Can anyone compile the latest version of picasso(2.4+). I installed TDM-GCC and everything that says "automake" in MinGW, but for the love of God "make" doesn't work. That MAKEFILE.am is getting on my nerves. ".am" stands for automake, but I cannot make it work. (pun not intended xD) @d0k3 do you have any ideas? I'm running Windows 10 x64.

shouldn't this be called CTRXplorer9? :)
anyway very cool, nice work
It doesn't run on the ARM9 processor, that's why it isn't called that.
If you want to have something that runs on ARM9 (plus some functionality, minus some functionality), take a look at GodMode9. Stay with the release versions for now, though, that new NAND mounting feature still needs some stuff ironed out.

yeah i guessed as much, but still thought it was funny, that's why i posted... lol

@d0k3 - thanks for GodMode9!
What would be perfect is if the number of tools end up being 9

Let's see..
1- Decrypt9
2- Emunand9
3- CTRXplorer
4- OTPHelper
5- Godmode9

What else.. They'll end up being 9 I'm sure :P

I'd hate to be that guy, but... considering the recant influx of work being put into this again (as seen on github), is there going to be a new release "soon" (within the week or so)?

I compiled LATEST picassa.exe (maybe x64?) with the amazing help of @astronautlevel: https://www.sendspace.com/file/gp7rjb

CTRXplorer compiles fine with this version(it's ~3mb up from ~750kb). But the real question is this, do we need picassa to compile CTRXplorer @d0k3 ?
I have never gotten that file, so I'd say, nope, you don't need it.

I only fixed some minor things, but, yes, new release is coming up soon.

What sort of bugs have you fixed? Anything mildly entertaining?
Standard stuff. Just check the last 5 Github commits. There was a way to crash the text viewer earlier, and case sensitive rename (ie. abc.xyz -> ABC.XYZ) didn't work earlier. The latter does not work on a multitude of environments, btw, not without a workaround.

You don't need Picasso. :/ I compiled citrus without using 2.1 or newer.
