I guess you shouldn't have any problems on Linux, it build fine.
It is building fine on Windows now too. You could add to the README.md that Windows users need to use the following command instead at step 3, and that for some reason it needs to be ran TWICE before step 4.

Code:
cmake -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=../DevkitARM3DS.cmake ../ -G "MSYS Makefiles"

timeout is broken for me too.

Also, just tried booting rxtools and it blackscreened. Using the exact same path with bootctr it loads fine. Wondering if it's something to do with the delay=2000 setting that bootctr has but this doesn't?

Don't know if anyone else has this issue or not.
But with the latest version no matter which entry i select to boot in the menu it seems to just ignore it and boot the one set as default instead.

@cpasjuste any ideas?

Same problem with me as well
I don't have that problem. Did you recreate a9lh.cfg from the new template after updating to v04? It changed something regarding the cfg file's formatting.

Nope just used the config i already had from v01, didn't notice anything different in the config. hmm

your right no change in the cfg
@cpasjuste if you have something set as A to override the default boot entry, on the selection menu when you press A it loads up whatever you set for A instead of loading up your selection.

Yeah I know what is and where is the problem. Eeven when launching manually an entry it look for the "recovery/override" key, I must remove that. I'll also take a look at the default entry and timer.

this is great news, the loader is nearly perfect now, great job

Yes I think that too :)
A really small request, could you readd the features from the original CBM where you could edit the timeout, recovery key, default entry etc. from inside CBM? And maybe an option to add entries from its built in file manager? BTW, do the reboot and shutdown entries can still be added to the main menu?
