If you really wanted to, you could install Windows using bootcamp. Or a more convenient option, Cemu might even run in Wine (a program that runs Windows applications on other OSes) although it would run slower than actually running on Windows.

I already know about Wineskin. Umm... I tried but maybe directx or something is need to installing in Wineskin for Cemu to run. By the way, I am not sure if Cemu needs those to installed at first but without it and Wineskin tried to run it but refused and shut it down.

I do not own Windows 7 or 10 for bootcamp or I wouldn't asked here. I do not want to download illegal Windows 10 if I want to. So, I just hope that they might released MAC OS X in the future when Cemu is getting an advance. Just look at Dolphin Emulator. It runs great on my MacBook Pro with a Retina.

Screen is stuck here when loading Windwaker up. Not sure if it is just me or what. Also any game I try to load up it is stuck in that corner. http://prntscr.com/8vagyz
what are your specs? I think you are using intel gpu

You can always contribute to Decaf in the meantime :P all research is good research, even if it's just documenting API functions on WiiUBrew.
does it play games yet? and does it have a website, like seeing the progress and getting a working build in the future?
I don't know how to build emulators soo :v :D even I don't understand GitHub

It's getting there, dunno how much graphics stuff they've done recently but it is rendering stuff (and with external files unlike this)

Amiibo Settings is a good app to test with, nice and small. It's only really been exjam and brett working on it in our little IRC channel

Decaf doesn't really compile for me! Do you know whether it needs external libraries installed or something else I'm missing?
There's no instructions for compiling sadly! :/

You need the Windows 10 SDK for the DX12 stuff, plus Visual Studio 2015. Note that like no games are booting right now...

I just found out a few minutes ago that in the "libraries" folder all of the required libs need to be imported manually!
I just did that and VS still can't find them!

Can Decaf even be started? I found newest compiled version, but when i try to open it, i see cmd like window, and then it closes and nothing happens. I'm on Win 10.
P.S. People, sorry for going off-topic. If someone can help me with running Decaf, PM me. Tnx :)

Maybe it is because I downloaded it with Git's tool! Did you do that as well or did you maybe just DL a zip file?
Just used Github for Windows, any git program should work as long as it resolves the submodules correctly. (all the libraries used)

Run it from command prompt and you'll get usage instructions. Again, can't really run or display anything.

Oh, ok... Then i'll wait for some far future release of Decaf. Tnx for the answer anyway. :)

Wow very nice, Mario Kart 8 is actually working in game. Never thought it will get that far. Anyway will making a emulator open source allow for more cheaters online? Anyway how about disabling cheats when the emulator detects internet connectivity, how about that? Maybe if it goes open source though someone can modify it to change that behavior though.

I wouldn't worry about that yet, I doubt online will be supported for a very very very very very very very very *DEEP INHALE* very long time
