How are you booting. Have you downgraded mset or using homebrew launcher?

I'm using Themehax to boot homebrew launcher

it happened when i change the homemenuhax to type 1 trigger, it's just looping and cant open cakes anymore

If cakes is set to boot system NAND it will do that as menuhax keeps kicking in everytime hold a button will stop it looping

I downgraded my firmware to 4.5 today, now Im tryin to install CakeCFW and did all steps (including placing the right files in the right place of my SD Card), but as I typed in http://dukesrg.no-ip.org/3ds/cakes?Cakes.dat in the browser (manually and saving as favorite), the browser trys to load Cake.dat but instead of launching the CFW I just got back to the home menu telling me, the software Im currently using isnt working (the normal error message when you did anything wrong lel).

I tried the latest version, should I get an older version instead?

I mean, I just wanna launch a japanese game regionfree and being able to patch it... cant be that hard but Im working for hours now. If you have any other solutions, that wont cost anything, Im free to try anything, lel.

Try again and verify that the browser downgraded right. Otherwise try loading it from HBL from any other entrypoint.

It's included in the download zip file. Please refrain from using anything other than what's included there.

Make sure you're booting to emuNAND and unlink your NANDs (look it up).

Have you configured cakes in cakes menu. If you've configured any cfw to boot system NAND and will get it looping if you have no button press on menuhax

Well, input the combination to stop menuhax from loading after booting cakes.

You're sure your booting into sysnand? Check your System Settings and check your firmware version. If it says Ver 9.2, then you're booting into sysnand.
