yeah the 4.x MSET doesnt just outright brick a 2DS, its only the initial setup that it looses the ability to get past....so as long as you don't do a system format while you have a 4.x MSET installed you should be fine, and if you do need to perform a system format you should install a 6.x+ copy of MSET again to avoid the bug or restore your stock nand backup via the GW menuThat's what I meant by official system restore. It goes into an infinite loop though for me. Easily fixed with a GW system restore.
I actually did a full 4.5 system restore on that 2ds for fun once. The screen was badly distorted and mset didn't work. Was only able to flash back because I left my wifi on lol.
it would probably work fine, the whole issue was simply that the 4.x MSET couldn't imagine a situation where the user had no 3D slider to adjust....i presume even the 1.x MSET would work n the n3DS, its just pre 2DS MSET's that will cause issues on the 2DS due to the lack of 3D calibration which is forced as part of the initial set up processI kinda wonder what would happen if I installed 1.0 mset on a 9.2 O3DS and tried to format the system through that.
It's awesome!thanks.and is it supported for tw 3ds and ique 3ds?
What are the main differences between this and rxTools? Also, can either CFW be used to launch Ninjhax?
Q: Why should I use this?
A: If you ask yourself that question, this is not for you. Other projects already provide a lot of stuff this provides.
Launching via Ninjhax? For what purpose? What are the main differences between this and rxTools? Also, can either CFW be used to launch Ninjhax?
Doesn't work with Ninjhax, as in you can't boot the CFW using Ninjhax? What I'm wondering is if Ninjhax can be run from within in the CFW. I'd appreciate if someone would clarify. Thanks. As far as I'm aware, rxTools doesn't work with ninjhax either, yet.
Too bad...I must say that CakesFW porting to n3ds is stopped. ReiNAND will have you covered!
You'll need to load up the 9.2 NATIVE_FIRM, which will require you to use custom signature patches (there's a pastebin telling you exactly what to apply where, though) and possibly emunand patches if desired (good luck with those).if Ninjhax can be run from within in the CFW.

Everything is running fine atm but today I tried to play some GBA games.
In installed the game on sysnand, it was already installed on emunand. I launched it but it doesn't work.
I think that it is because both nands are unlinked... What can I do to run it?
Do you have AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher installed?Everything is running fine atm but today I tried to play some GBA games.

Did you install the patched AGB_FIRM to SysNAND? Also, make sure that you keep the reboot cake patch disabled if you want to play GBA games.Everything is running fine atm but today I tried to play some GBA games.

@mid-kid Would it be possible for you to add some sort of save data to the CakesFW launcher so that we don't have to reenable/select the patches manually every time?
