You mean installing Luma on the same SD without backing up anything?
you just change the arm9loadehax.bin and add the luma folders, thats it done.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

you should learn some basics how the 3ds works .

but where would I run Luma from? I have nothing on Sysnand, I would have to launch Reinand > Home brewlauncher and then Luma?

Ok thanks for nothing

I installed Luma just now using this guide:
https://3ds.guide/installing-arm9loaderhax

Now I want to be able to hack acnl using this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-animal-crossing-new-leaf-multi-cheat-ntr-plugin.428522/
It says I need ntr 3.3 and up and I'm trying to install it but I am so confused out of my mind @~@ I dont understand anything TvT please help!

I tried downloading the BootNTR.zip, extracting the cia file, putting it into the cias folder, and installing it on my 3ds. However, when I open the NTR app, it says "param is missing: ntrConfig->PMSvcRunAddr"
and "unknown FIRM, access-checks could not be patched" and "open ntr.bin failed bnBootNTR failed" and a bunch of other stuff. What did I do wrong? :(

I am on 11-3

Same as Khanhlinh here but.. I instead get "Error #NTR already running returning to main menu".. I don't know what this means? I can't seem to make it change or go away.. I'd like some help.. I'm on 11-3 with cfw installed sysnand.. and other stuff able to install cias.

Delete whatever you have previously installed for ntr. Because whatever you did was not from this thread. Go to the first post and read it. Once you are done, scan the qr code and the files needed will be downloaded and ntr will now be installed.

I got it now xD Thank you so much!

The "Reduce Blue Light" Option is for...? Ok, Low the use of blue color in the screen but what is its reason to be?
I would invite you to use Bing to look at an application called f.lux or apple's Night Shift function.

Anyways, if you don't want to look them here, here's reasons:

1. Good to the eyes in the night.
2. Saves power.

Oh thanks! What is good for the eyes I imagined it but I was not sure. But on the other hand the save power is cool! Although in some games after level 3 to level 5 in O3DS many frames go down hahahaha

any version without homebrew splashscreen? or way to disable it? feels so out of place
No, the Nintendo 3DS boot logo is copyrighted so I can't use it.

But sources are available, feel free to do your own version. ;)

If you still don't have solved it, it's a problem with the files.

So launch the app, Press Select when you see the Homebrew logo, and keep it pressed until you see the app's background on screen.
You should be on the settings menu, choose Default and your problem should be solved.

Hey, so I have a question. It's probably a dumb question that's been answered, but I've been scrubbing through the pages and haven't seen it asked. So forgive me if it's a repeat question. Is there a way to stream using NTR CFW stream feature while playing regular DS games? If not it's cool, but I'd definitely appreciate it. Thanks for the info guys!

Edit: For New 3DS XL by the way. Just in case that matters.
