Sorry but since this guy claimed it worked I was wondering if I was doing something wrong.

Turns out I was wrong, I wasn't aware BootNTR Selector didn't work correctly if you replaced the ntr_3_4 file which is what I did when I tried to test Preview 3 before this was updated.

So how did you start 3-4 games? You thought ntr was running but it wasn't?

Anyone able to share what clock.plg looks like in game?
Or settings to get it working? I don't see anything when booting up a game.

Clock Plugin is a overlay plugin to show a widget displaying time and battery status on the top screen with 3d effect(if the game runs in the 3d-mode). Its source code is available at https://github.com/44670/ntr_overlay_samples



Usage: Copy clock.plg in the .zip file to /plugin/game folder in the sdcard. It will take effect when starting games.


If you don't get a green flash when you start a game then ntr is not running.

Hey, would you mind if I used the logo/startup animation that's in the .CIA? Not sure if it's yours but I wanted to be safe.

It was but I guess it wasn't "fully" functional since the Blue-light feature wasn't working at all so something else wasn't functioning correctly that allowed other games to start after the first one, maybe the streaming stuff? *shrugs*

Looks like Preview 4 got updated https://twitter.com/44670_/status/828476766532415488 still called Preview 4 since just fixes some minor issues "fix some minor issues with overlay plugin and blue-light reduction feature."
 
I noticed we can switch games/apps with the new update (but not really, actually).
This time instead the loop on the Nintendo 3DS logo, it crash.
I love the new fps and clock patch.
 
I just noticed that having the clock plugin installed NTR CFW 3.4 doesn't crash anymore if you switch from one game to another. Great!
 
For the people playing with the Same-Sex Marriage hacks for both Fates and Awakening, the newest update to NTR (and BootNTR Selector) break the hacks. You'll have to use a different version of BootNTR if you want to keep playing the hacks (or keep your Wi-Fi off long enough so that when you launch BootNTR, you won't download the newest update).

Can I request a CIA of v2.3 with the auto-update feature disabled?

It's not mine, it's nicely made by @PabloMK7 and is packed in BuildTools. ;)

So, yeah of course, you can use it.
 
Why not using NTR 3.3 instead of 3.4 then ?
Or we could do that. That works too. But then people can't record the hack unless they have a capture card. Loading either game after launching 2.4.1, maybe even with 2.4, (with 3.4) makes the games not get passed the 3DS loading screen.
 
Since we can have things overlayed as a post process, could we do things that could affect the game? like AA? or are we not that far in yet?
Screen resolution is too low anyway, so not possible.

Hmmm, maybe it'll be solved in a future update.
I'll push an update with the last version from @cell9 so push X while launching the app to force the updater. ;)
