Namecheap.

also just upgraded to this version of freeshop. downloaded a game just fine, but DLC goes right to suspended after starting to download. the game is Pic-a-Pix Color USA region if anyone would like to duplicate the issue.

maybe its just this game? i tried launching it first to see if maybe it needed to be launched before DLC, but no dice. i believe it might just be this game though - this game launches, then downloads the DLC in game, then you can purchase items in that section of the game - so essentially its free DLC but paid once you download the free DLC

Got same outcome. Dlc for this particular game stops at 99%

You can still access the site if you edit your hosts file to so that the 3ds/wiiu title key site domains map to the correct ip address. And yes, the title keys, seed db, and wings.json are at the chaotic site as well as the ip address to use.

I can confirm this works on PC - however, is there a way to do this on the 3ds?

Maybe through a special proxy

If you have cfw such as dd-wrt or openwrt installed on your router then you can use dnsmasq to do so. In dd-wrt go to services, choose dnsmasq-enable, local dns-enable, no dns rebind - disable, and then go to "addtional dnsmasq options" and add the appropriate address line. Here is an example for rad.msn.com that blocks it entirely : "address=rad.msn.com/127.0.0.1" (without the quotes, of course).

Or you can just download enctitlekeys.bin/wings.json on Windows/Mac/Linux/rooted Android and copy it over to your 3ds. For wings.json you just go to https://[redacted].com/json (after doing the hosts file edit), download that, and rename it to wings.json.

Yeah, but I bet a lot of people do not want to be messing with their router settings, plus, some people are just kids who do not know how to do anything

Hehe. You said do do.

In all seriousness, I do wonder who the owner of the 3ds/wii u title keys is. I'm not one of those people who would bug him to renew the sites, but I'm just curous.

Most people don't have aftermarket routers with cfw. I used to have an asus router but gave it up for an ISP provided one (traded it for a graphics card which saw better use) and most basic router don't have this function (trust me, I checked)

For the second method (or for those of us who already have the most recent cache version) - will it continue updating, or will we need to repeat this same process each time?

I still bet a lot of people (remember, a large majority of people here are kids) know how to do that, or even have their own computer

Well if they can install a9lh on a 3ds or hack a wii u, then they can follow the instructions to set that up and how to use AcrylicHosts.txt. Or just download the files from that chaotic site. As for updates, it is unlikely there will be very many new games added until either the domain is renewed or he gets a different domain. Which is likely as otherwise he would have shut the server down as well.

Once again, probably their parents helped or spammed these forums for help, and modifying the hosts file is harder than installing a9hl

Does anyone know where on my SD card I can find the title keys? Wanna back it up, for safekeeping.
