3DSnake is a remake of the classic snake game for 3DS Homebrew.

I DID NOT MAKE THIS, I ONLY PORTED IT TO THE 3DS USING LOVEPOTION

New Features:
  • If you go off one side of the screen, you'll come in from the other (To compensate for the 3DS Screen being so tiny)
  • If you don't get a peice of food in 9 seconds, it will dissapear and a new one will be randomly placed on the board.
Controls:
  • Circlepad - Move
  • SELECT - Reset
  • START - Close program

Special thanks to:
anders for the original Snake in Love2D
Me for porting it over to 3DS
@VideahGams for making LovePotion

I've just been playing it, and I like it, but is there any chance the controls could be changed to the d-pad rather than the circle pad? I found my snake would often double back on itself rather than go at a right angle.
Also, a way to quit back to HBL would be handy rather than having to power off.

1. I'll add d-pad support in a sec.
2. START exits to the HBL.

Where are you finding these love2d games? I want to port a few, but I literally can't find anything simple like Tetris or Snake.
Go to the release section of the Love2D's forum, there's a lot of "newbies" who post there ;)

Finally found time to try out the new version with d-pad support - it works much better than the analogue control but seems to have slightly more input delay (but not so much to be a major issue - inputting the directions fractionally earlier just takes a little getting used to).
Start to exit is also now working (I tried the first build again and it definitely wasn't working for me), but could it exit back to HBL? For some reason when I exit it dumps me back on my CBootMngr menu and locks the system up.
