I am interested in knowing one thing. I read that while we are able to decrypt ROMs, we are not able to re-encrypt them.
So how exactly are people editing ROMs and making them playable again? I don't need a guide or anything since I don't see myself doing this any time soon. A simple but explanatory answer is enough.

The roms are repacked using developer's keys and certificates. Gateway can run them.

We are using tools that are banned from this forum. If it wasn't for it, you would have already seen them posted everywhere.

Ah, I see. Is this also how Homebrew is packed or is this something different entirely?

Interesting. Now I'm intrigued. Is there any place where it's explained in just a little more detail how this works?

The issue we were having was makrom not properly packing the romfs. Homebrew applications don't yet have a romfs, so that was never an issue for them.

I finally did it!
