Actually, not really. I just want a custom banner to use for my profile - now that you can set a screenshot as your "favorite post" and have it show up when people click your name, I think it would be cool.

if anyone wants a text editor for x/y, I've finished my tool.

1. Use garctool to break up the text garc you want to edit.
2. Drag the folder from garctool, and select which text file you want to edit.
3. Press Save Text to save any changes to your text file.
4. When done, you can just pack up the folder with garctool and use it in your repacked ROM.

About time someone actually publishes a means to decrypt ROMs! Unfortunately however my 3DS is on 7.1. Would somebody who has decrypted the ROM for Pokemon X be able to upload it somewhere and PM me the link? In case you care (also so you don't think I only want this cause I think it's playable on Citra or something), I do legally own the cartridge; here's proof.

I just want to look through the game's files.

EDIT: Also, would it likely be possible to use this to create a randomizer for OR/AS when they come out? Because I'm sure Twitch Plays Pokemon would randomize it if they could, considering they did it with FireRed and HeartGold.

this will probably not work on ORAS, there is currently no way to decrypt 7.x encrypted roms.....unless this changes before its release, there will be no ORAS editing....or smash bros either for that matter

That is amazing. I've got it as a download as well, so I can just delete the 1.1 update and redownload it when I'm done.

For the first one that I posted, I put different images into paint and make sure that the final image was 400 x 240. For the others, I could not find the resolutions in a supported format online, so I took pictures of the ones I wanted when they were displayed on a different screen. I also edited one of them in the 3DS Camera app. You might also want to use a more advanced program (such as GIMP or Photoshop) for better results.

This is important:

When the 3D is turned on, if a 3D image only looks different on one set of pixels instead of two, then make sure to leave the 3D on before closing the 3DS Camera app. Otherwise, one set of pixels will be black when using the glitch and the image might not post correctly.

Too bad this only works with photos and not with anything else :/ I'm getting a black screen in the upper screen with Mii Plaza, for example.
