And you guys sure love to bitch about it.

Because keeping quiet about it will somehow change their minds and makes the situation all better? It's attitudes like theirs that make the 3DS scene stagnant. I wouldn't be shocked if the scene just dies off. The hackers that had no intent to release aren't going to be persuaded no matter what people say, and keeping quiet sure won't change their minds either, so......:creep:

The 3DS hacking scene is garbage. Those who refuse to release their hacks after showing it, yeah, they can all just bug off :creep:

3DS-CFW won't work on my 3DS.
Can anyone help me?

What I did:
1.
Code:
sudo dd if=NAND.BIN of=/dev/mmcblk0 seek=1
2. Copy the files in 3DS_STUFF to root directory of SD card.
3. Exploit with L trigger
-> It worked.
4.
Code:
ctrclient --serveradr=192.168.1.76 --customcmd="installcia:1,0 helloworld.cia"
-> ctrclient: failed to connect
5. Reboot
6. Exploit again with L trigger
-> It won't work.

Im having the same problem, i dont know what else i can do

Indeed ! I noticed it from stark's video ! my sentence makes sense right now '' it's the worst homebrew scene of all time''
Might be the last too.

Idk but bitchching about it only make things messier. Until we reach this point.

Hard to tell to be honest. Things weren't going well for the 3DS scene anyways. If the cowardly devs are well, too cowardly to release their hacks after flaunting their goods and strutting their stuff don't do anything, someone else will, even if it is against their wishes. If leaks are to be prevented, teasing is not the way to go about it. You just know someone will leak hacks to one-up others. It's a vicious cycle, hackers showcase hack that they don't release, people on the inside find a way to leak it, people who refused to release it get butthurt and ragequit from the scene. The Circle of Life.

Here's what I think. They probably, at some point, would have released a functional and working cfw. Something that a skilled coder would be proud to say, "I did this". In it's current state, this is embarrasing. Could I myself or alot of the others in this thread have done better? Or even gotten to this point on our own? HELL NO! Was I bummed, knowing someone has a cfw and knowing that I had to spend a lot of cash for another 3DS and a GW? HELL YEAH! But I think this would have been a lot cooler if it had been a completed cfw. One that worked completely. I remember when I first got cfw installed on my release PSP. I was amazed! I had mad respect and admiration for the coder that made that possible. I wish I had half the skill some of these guys have.
I was excited as hell when I first saw this thread. After following it all day, I'm just sad. It's barely functional first of all. Secondly, it was obtained, somewhere along the way, through either deception or flat out theft. Somebody stole something from someone else. To each his own. For those willing to screw around with it, lots of luck guys. I would love a truly functional cfw as much as anyone else here. My only issue is, my mom raised me better than this. I will personally wait until a real cfw is released. Released by the true author of said cfw, if and when they choose to do so. I have already spent the money on said second 3DS and GW so I can already do more than this allows.
It's pretty cool to see an example of how close they really are. It sucks to see them brag. Truthfully? If i was as badass of a coder as they are, I would probably brag too, heh. Anyway, I just hope these guys aren't discouraged by this crapfest. I also hope that they realize, not all of us are unappreciative leeches. I might be a leech (only because there's no way in hell I could do this myself) but I definitely appreciate the fact that some amazing people not only have the skills but also the passion that it obviously took to even get this far! KUDOS to you guys.

It won't work on my 3DS. :/
EDIT: I think ROP Loader doesn't matter because it showed blue screen.

idk mines not working either they say this in tutorials in past pages
3. Now your top screen should be blue, and the bottom screen should flash white for a second. If it didn't flash white then you're going to have to restart your 3DS. Keep doing step 2 until it flashes white and your 3DS reboots. (It won't give you an error.)

But after the first trial, the color of screen doesn't change from blue.

Only the bottom screen is important. If if flashes white then it worked and you're gonna go back into Home Menu after a few seconds. If it's black, you have to try again. If it stays white, you didn't insert your NAND correctly into your SD card.
