Homebrew ReiNAND Questions

Ok, a few days ago I installed ReiNAND on my NEW 3ds since I ran out of memory on my SD I took it upon myself to mess around with ReiNAND before my new SD card gets delivered. While installing GBA games I noticed the system scales the games to fit the entire screen, is there a way to downscale them? The next Question I have is if I update ReiNAND to the latest firmware (10.5) will I still be able to install CIAS? Also since my NANDS are linked will ReiNAND only update or will SysNAND also update? I prefer to keep my NANDS linked since I've got no issues so far.

Cannot answer your question about GBA games, as i've got no experience there ... but you are safe updating your emunand to 10.5 using reiNand. Also updating your emunand should in no way interfere with your sysnand (even if they are still linked) ... it could though happen that you are facing little incompatibility options if emunand and sysnand are running on different versions and you have linked profiles ... i guess that's why unlinking them is considered best practice
