Hacking Regionthree: Compatibility List Thread

: if you enjoy using the 'Regionthree' exploit to play cart games from different regions with your 3DS‬, do not upgrade your firmware to 5.3.0-23. It's been disabled.

The new update firmware should be 9.5.0-23 , not 5.3.0-23

BEYBLADE EVOLUTION (US) works with 3DSLL (JP) operating under 9.4. (streetpass doesn't work)

ughh..my 3DSLL(JP) just forced me to upgrade!! I was browsing Miiverse and when i returned to the main menu a pop-up came up and before i knew it i had clicked "yes" to whatever popped-up and within seconds my 3DSLL changed into

9.5.0-23..and nevertheless with 3 new + 4 more US 3DS games arriving any day now..T___T hopefully they'll figure out some other method soon I was enjoying playing some English games for a change.. ​

yes, i can confirm that the games i was playing just a few minutes ago do not load anymore..i get a "version:unknown" error in the browser..ughh, that's 7 new bought games useless to me now..and i was hoping to test and add some of these to the list.

i read about this on another site:

Interestingly, the AU/EUR Animal crossing (New Leaf) DOES work in my JP 3DS LL (Ver. 9.4.0-21J)

A few of the shop banners are in Japanese, which is no problem at all. It makes my village somewhat unique. All of the in game text is English and there has been no problem with saves, loads or exiting the game.
