Hello all, I've been out of the switch scene for a while.
However wanted to ask a question about EmuMMC and SysNAND.
Just so you know I want to clarify about these things here before my question.
I know SysNAND and EmuMMC are 2 completely different instances where one is based on actual flash memory and the other is based of an OS installed on the SD card.
So lets say my SysNAND is a restored version (fresh one before any CFW) so i am able to go online etc. And lets say I have EmuMMC installed.
So Now under a hypothetical situation I am launching my switch into RCM mode so i can go in my EmuMMC and enjoy a few things like using homebrew, nsps etc.
(LET ASSUME THAT THERE ARE 2 INSTANCES of BAN OR NO BAN).
Q1) I start up EmuMMC and used homebrew NSP etc. Now I exit EmuMMC and start up SysNAND and connect to the internet. Will my Logs or any other stuff alert nintendo?
Q2) Same situation Above however let us assume that i also connected EmuMMC to the internet with 90DNS protection.
I remember doing both these things long time ago and it didn't really affect my instance of going online however i want to clear my doubts now since I haven't been up to date with switch EmuMMC or any other stuff recently.
So will i get banned from online services in both instances or am I save to use EmuMMC independently. (LET US SAY THAT I WONT CONNECT TO INTERNET VIA EMUMMC AND JUST ONLY USE HOMEBREW STUFF AND MY SYSNAND GETS CONNECTED TO INTERNET).

1) No, it's fine as long as you keep your EmuMMC offline.
2) You can connect your EmuMMC online with 90DNS or Incognito. But this won't allow you to connect to Nintendo servers. So the advantage of 90DNS and Incognito is, that you can use Network install or FTP homebrew.

So I guess connecting to internet on SysNAND is fine in both circumstances with emummc being offline or emummc connected but howevern with 90DNS enabled?

Yes. Better keep emuMMC offline if you don't need FTP or something similar.

Wow !! Thank you , this let me know that. EmuMMC could connect internet with 90DNS and incognito . That’s GREAT
