Apple redsn0w 0.9.6rc9 problems

its not working for my ipod touch 4g windows vista. i have the right ipsw and i put it in compadibilty mode and in windows xp service pack 2. any help
edit: it keeps freezing on the uploading ramdisk stage. and my ipod is at the downloading jailbreak image stage so help

I am having the same issues.

EDIT: I fixed it by running it in Windows 95 compatibility mode.

I can't help because all I have is an iPod Classical 2G (which will crash any Mac it's plugged into within 5 minutes) and an iPad 2. The jailbreak doesn't work on iPad 2 yet, so I'm out of it.

Try W95 compatability mode as iFish suggested.
