has there been any update for rednand? i want to install it but when theres been an update to it so it will be easier and safer to install

I highly doubt there will be any updates what so ever. If @dimok were to make any changes to redNAND, you would have to completely format your SD card and dump everything all over again, that is unless he were to come up with a way to patch the new changes on your PC.

There has been no update to RedNAND, as far as I'm concerned. You don't really need to install it in the first place, unless you're going to mess around with vital system files (thus causing a brick). If you just want "backups", also known as illegally obtained games, you can simply use the Brazilian USB method. Most things that can be done on RedNAND can already be done on SysNAND, besides being able to recover from almost any brick.

i know but i like having a cfw just in case plus i do plan on doing more things to my wii u in the future so right now i have instaill liked 13 games on my sysnand if i were to install rednand would i have to reinstall all the games again and my friend code will change right?

No, if you create a redNAND installation now, all the games you installed beforehand will be accessible in redNAND, and your friend code will stay the same.
You will only have to reinstall all your games if you unlink sysNAND and redNAND.

However, any games you install on sysNAND after setting up redNAND will not be present in redNAND, and vice versa.
