Hi Guys,

Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, but i red that its possible to resize the capacity of the rednand if you use a larger SD card than 64 (I have a 32 GB Wii U) so there should be about 96GB in the rednand? but in the data management were the wii u size and usb sticks are i only have the 32GB / nand?

Did i something wrong? I created the rednand with Mocha CFW

Best Wishes

No. What you red was a lie. redNAND will only be the size of your wii u. If it is the white one it will be 8 GB and if it is the black one it will be 32 GB

Ok, well thats stupid from me...
@bob4455

Because i red i get more space if i'm creating a rednand, all of my external hdd are full and loaded with something important and i also red its not possible to create a sperate partition for the wii u to load things(fake too?).

What the extra space meant is you can fill sysnand's 32gb and then fill rednand's 32 gb

i only did the rednand becaus of the promised land of more space and capacity,but now i can use it as my new smartphone sd, or send it back and buy a new hdd.
i think the thread can be closed.

edit: wtf, i backed up my save games but the new formatted nand can't read the stick, but the rednand still does any solutions, do i have to download drivers?

sysNAND won't recognize games/saves that were installed on redNAND. I don't think there's a way around this unfortunately.

Sorry for the misunderstanding , i should have said these are the savegames from the normal nand, but it won't recognize the stick at all. in the red nand it recognizes the stick. i formatted the nand to unlink it

Afaik, saves from redNAND can be moved somewhere else and then installed on sysNAND. but I could be wrong

Rednand could be important with an system update only to update it keeping the sysnand unnafected
