Tonight 03 March 2007 Skywatchers eagerly awaiting Saturday's total lunar eclipse say that the spectacle could be the "best in years" for Euro.
The eclipse begins at 2018 GMT, with the Moon totally immersed in the shadow of the Earth between 2244 and 2358 GMT.

Occurs when Moon passes into Earth's shadow
Penumbra: Region where Earth blocks some (but not all) Sun rays
Umbra: Zone where Earth blocks all direct sunlight - total eclipse

That would depend on your timezone, for PST its about 12pm and EST its 3pm (i think).

lunar eclipses are around like every year, but sometimes you miss it bcoz it's daytime on your side
