I had forgot I pre-ordered this one, arrived today. It's a normal D-Pad with a high-hat like everyone's been asking for. It's also a pretty nice controller overall, weighs about half a pro controller (and doesn't have a lot of the features), but the design on it and the removable stick caps are the real draw here IMO. Other than the price anyway, which is only $25 now.

Does it have gyro controls? If not...kinds useless for me. Can't imagine trying to aim at things with just a joystick anymore. Seems silly they'd make a zelda themed controller that doesn't have gyro which has a major impact on how the game is played when using bows and certain runes....

Wired or not, I'm here just waiting for a pro type controller that doesn't cost a fortune and has gyro controls. Rumble/NFC I can live without. But need that gyro man. It should be a crime to market a controller for a game that makes heavy use of a feature that controller doesn't have.... :P

Nah it's minimal, but works 100% for buttons-only compatible games. Good extra controller for multiplayer too, or to complete a set of four IMO. Nice to look at next to a pro controller.

EDIT: No rumble

This seems like it might be what you want: http://www.8bitdo.com/sn30pro-sf30pro/. I don't know if you consider $50 to be "not a fortune", but it's MSRP is $20 less than the Pro controller. It has all the standard Switch buttons, non-HD rumble, and gyro. No NFC support.

Man I love the design of that controller.

I was waiting for the price of that to come down, but I didn't realize it had all those features. Probably gonna be a while if it gets a price drop at all, then.

It's still pre-order, so probably not until it releases.
